Membership is valid for 1 competition season. Additional fees may apply for local, state & national competitions.
Each competition cycle, or “season,” begins nearly 18 months before one woman wins the job of Miss America., which means the seasons overlap. To keep things simple, we name each season for the Miss America title that can be earned in that cycle (Emma Broyles won the title of Miss America 2022 in December of 2021).
Local competitions June 2022 to May 2023 are part of the 2024 Miss America season.
Local competitions June 2023 to May 2024 will be part of the 2025 Miss America season.
Please note that because the seasons overlap, there may be local competitions in June 2022, just prior to their state competitions, that apply to the 2023 Miss America season. Please choose the season based on which Miss America title you hope to compete for, which is generally one year later than when that Miss America competition will take place.

This is the first item's accordion body. It is hidden by default, until the collapse plugin adds the appropriate classes that we use to style each element. These classes control the overall appearance, as well as the showing and hiding via CSS transitions. You can modify any of this with custom CSS or overriding our default variables. It's also worth noting that just about any HTML can go within the .accordion-body, though the transition does limit overflow.
